Currently, the bike has started selling in the US and now it will be soon slated to launch in the Indian market. It is a powerful bike than its previous version 250R and comes with a host of mechanical changes to ensure fun riding experience to its users. The entry level sports bike is powered by a fuel-injected 296cc twin engine with dual throttle valves. This 300cc powerful engine is capable to produce a 39 PS of peak power at 11,000 RPM and 27 Nm of peak torque at a rather high 10,000 RPM. The engine of this sports bike is mated to a six speed gearbox and also comes with a slipper clutch. The bike looks aggressive with a length of 2015mm, 715 mm width and 1110mm height. The company has claimed that the wet weight of this bike is to be 172 Kg and a wheelbase of 1405mm. The stability of this sports bike is improved with a rigid diamond frame and wider 140mm rear tyre. It features aggressive Ninja styling with big dual headlights, floating windscreen, fairings and wheels.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300R features with a 37mm telescopic fork of 120mm travel front suspension and Uni-Trak with five-way pre-load adjustment with 132mm travel rear suspension. The rider will be ensured better controlling with its impressive braking system. The fornt brakes is loaded with 290mm petal disc with twin-piston caliper and the rear end is enabled with 220mm petal disc with twin-piston caliper brakes. The riders will feel cooler on the bike with large openings in the fairing and a new radiator fan cover to divert engine heat. The Ninja 300R will be available in pearl stardust white, ebony or a special edition lime green. The all new Kawasaki Ninja 300R set for 2013 launch.
