After the International launch of Honda CBR 250R with ABS and non ABS, Honda Motors has unveiled an elder sibling of this bike in Thailand market. The name of the new bike is Honda CBR 150R. The bike has same body design, chassis and features as CBR 250R but not ABS.
The company is taking booking order for Honda CBR 250R and it will available in the month of April this year. And new commuter is also ready to hit the Indian road. It is expected that this commuter 150cc CBR will be launched by the end of this year.
Honda CBR 250R has starting price of Rs.150,000 and available in two variants. So now to make CBR series affordable the company to launch this new 150cc variant. The bike will come loaded with DOHC 4-valve, single cylinder 150 cc water-cooled engine with balance shaft. This engine of the bike produces 18 Bhp at 10500 rpm and top torque of 14 Nm at 8500 rpm.
Honda CBR 150R will come with analogue instrument panel which consist of fuel meter, speedometer,odometer, tachometer, temperature meter and signal, high beam and gear status light indicator. The bike has 6-speed sequential manual transmission gearbox and in terms of security the bike uses front and rear Patel disc brakes.
The expected dimension for the bike are 1910 mm length, 652 mm width and 1065 mm height while maximum weight is 115 kg. Overall the bike is perfect and might available with expected price of approx Rs. 94,000. But few wait till official announcement.
