Yamaha FZ-16 and FZ-S features and specifications reviewed

Yamaha FZ 16 and FZ-S launched by Yamaha and these bikes are well receiving by the youth of India. With all the best features Yamaha FZ-16 launched with the tagline of “Lord of the street”. Yamaha has got the great response with the launch of FZ series bikes. With several class leading features installed the sales chart of the company raised to upper level with FZ series bikes, Yamaha FZ-16, Yamaha FZS and Yamaha Fazer.

The sporty bike Yamaha FZ-16 comes with 153cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, single cylinder, 2-valve engine which generates maximum power of 14PS at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. The bike has only electric start option along with CDI ignition. Yamaha FZ-16 loaded with rear monocross suspension and hydraulic suspension at front, it has single disc brake. The bike has fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and it has naked body type with stylish fuel tank.

Yamaha FZ-16 has best attractive and sporty features, distinctive mask, sharp tail view and mid-ship silencer. It has fitted with multi reflector headlamp, big size radial tyres and handsome full digital LCD instrument panel.

With the same engine capacity Yamaha launched FZS after the FZ-16. The new version of Yamaha FZS comes with 153cc, air cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, 2-valve and SOHC engine which produces a top power of 14PS at 7500 rpm and top torque of 14Nm at 6000 rpm. It has 5 speed return type transmission, multi-plate wet clutch which ensure smooth grip and riding. The ignition system of the bike is CDI 3 dimention digital. Its wide rear tyre ensure to the rider an ultimate grip on road.

Yamaha FZ-S loaded with sporty front single disc brake and drum type brake system at rear, telescopic suspension at front and monocross type suspension at rear. With all the best features both the bikes compete with Bajaj Pulsar, TVS Apache, Hero Honda Karizma and Honda CB Dazzler.
