Suzuki launched Slingshot in South India recently as well in North India also. As per Suzuki’s experts the 125cc segment is fast growing bike segment in India and the latest launched targeted to semi urban and rural areas also, where the demand is more. Suzuki known as its worldwide reliable bikes and best technology and quality, expected that the sale of the company will be increasing in upcoming years and Suzuki will sell 5000 units per month of its motorbikes. Suzuki is planning to invest in bike market up to Rs. 500 crore and will appoint more dealers across the country. Suzuki is expanding its capacity of its Gurgaon plant to 5,40.000 units by the end of 2012.
Suzuki Slingshot which available in four colours, Metallic Mustard Yellow, Metallic Fox Orange, Candy Antares Red and Pearl Nebular Black had 124cc, air cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC engine. Latest launched Suzuki Slingshot loaded with one step comfortable seat, adjustable rear suspension, light weight alloy wheels, sharp head lamp. It will available on price at Rs. 45,911 (ex-showroom).
India now became the largest production hub of motorbikes, in this highly competitive market Suzuki wants to get 10 percent market share. Presently Suzuki has wide range of its Super sports, commuter and entry level bike segment bikes.
