Bajaj Auto to launch new Pulsar in India

Bajaj Auto to launch new Pulsar in India by the end of 2011, it may be with the engine capacity of 300cc. Although Bajaj has not made any announcement about specification and features of the upcoming bike but it guesses by exporter that the new bike will have 300cc Bajaj Pulsar engine. For Pulsar bike lovers this is the good news.

Bajaj Auto is planning to sell its well known model Pulsar 135cc in the European Market with the cooperation of KTM dealerships, it’s doing well in Indian domestic market. Bajaj Auto owns substantial stake in the Austrian firm and has initiated super luxury bikes from KTM in India.

Presently Indian two wheeler market captured by the India’s leading company Hero Honda and Bajaj Auto wants to surpass Hero Honda.

S. Sridhar, President (motorcycle), Bajaj Auto told that With rest of the models the company has more focus on Pulsar and Discover, Discover has climbed to the third position in the first quarter of 2010-11 form the ninth position in the first quarter of 2009-10.

In Indonesian market Bajaj has sold its Pulsar 135cc through KTM outlets. In the Previous year PT Bajaj auto Indonesia scored losses and it is likely to break even by 2010.
