Suzuki has invited a press conference in New Delhi on 25th of August. In this conference it might announce about its much awaited bike Suzuki Slingshot 125. Basically the expected bike will replace Suzuki Zues. Although Slingshot will replace Zues but with the same engine capacity and more costly than Zues its unable to score well over 125cc bikes which presently performing on India’s roads.
By the experts, Suzuki wants to give tough competition to rival companies in entry level bike segment by its upgraded version but the most of the market has captured by Hero Honda and Bajaj its tough for Suzuki. Suzuki Slingshot will available in four attractive colours Black, Silver, Grey and orange.
Although the technical specification of the upcoming Suzuki Slingshot yet not announce by Suzuki but it expected that it will have 125cc, 4-stroke, air cooled, OHC engine which generates maximum power of 8.5 bhp at 7500 rpm and max torque of 10Nm at 3500 rpm, 5 speed gearbox and analog speedometer.
The expected SlingShot will come in the range of between Rs. 50,000 to 60,000.
Suzuki wants to introduce its maximum range in Indian two wheeler market, recently it launched two super sports model Suzuki Bandit 1250s and Suzuki GSX 1000R for Indian youth.
Suzuki’s all Indian variant is able to give tough competition to Honda, TVS, Hero Honda, Bajaj, Mahindra and Yamaha bikes which is performing well in Indian two wheeler market.
